Houston Food Bank will again be recognized as the Community Partner of the Freedom over Texas (Event) on July 4, 2024. The 2024 celebration will be a six-hour event of festivities and tradition with a live concert staged in Elanor Tinsley Park on Buffalo Bayou. It will feature Russell Dickerson, Jo Dee Messina, as well as Chapel Hart, and will be capped off with a ‘Texas-sized’ fireworks finale overlooking the Houston skyline. The Event has become Houston’s signature annual event, with an average of 50,000 people in attendance.
