Where to Park and Check-in
Houston Food Bank is located at 535 Portwall Street, on the North side of I-10 within the 610 loop.
Stop 12125 on the Almeda Lyons bus route.
From the North side of I-10, on the access road going West, turn North onto Portwall St.
On Portwall, take the second driveway on the Right to our main parking lot. Look for the Welcome sign. If this lot is full or unavailable, please keep driving down Portwall to our Overflow Parking.
Follow the yellow arrows and green apples to go the the main parking area.
When you reach the main parking area, you will see the main entrance of Houston Food Bank. Take the stairs or the ramp to enter the facility.
Head towards the railroad tracks. Please be sure to check both directions before driving over the tracks.
The Overflow Parking is the first driveway on your Right. Look for the Welcome sign.
As you enter, you will see Houston Food Bank on the green brick wall.
Walk towards the facility doors. Take the elevator or stairs to the second floor.
Follow the long hall towards the main area of the building. Follow the directions to the Lobby.
Keep following the hall towards the Lobby. Follow the arrow signs. Eventually you will see a timeline of Houston Food Bank events on the wall.
You will see another long hall with a green wall on one side and a wall of windows on the other. Keep following the Lobby and arrow signs.
At the end of the hall, you will reach a set of double glass doors. Walk through the double glass doors to get to the Community Assistance Program desk.
Walk downstairs to get to the Lobby and our Welcome Desk.
You can also take the elevator next to the CAP desk.
The nearest stop is Bus Stop 12125 on the Almeda Lyons bus route.
