Brian Greene is President & CEO of Houston Food Bank, the nation’s largest Feeding America food bank which provides donated food across 18 southeast Texas counties via its network of 1,600 partner agencies. Greene has led the organization to massive growth since he took the helm in 2005, increasing distribution fivefold, navigating challenges including the pandemic, and earning accolades including Food Bank of the Year, named one of Nonprofit Times’ 50 most influential nonprofit leaders in the US, and receiving the prestigious John van Hengel Fellowship Award. Greene has 37 years of experience leading food banks and is recognized for his vision, innovation and community impact, which inspires Houston Food Bank’s mission of food for better lives and vision of a world that doesn’t need food banks. He serves on numerous professional boards and committees and is an adjunct professor for the graduate program in Nonprofit Management at University of Houston Downtown. Greene received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Humboldt State University and a Masters of Arts in Economics from the University of Tennessee. Greene and wife Andrea have two teenage sons, Gavin and Shane.

Chinelo Aralu
Chief Financial Officer
Chinelo Aralu is a Certified Public Accountant with more than 15 years of Accounting, Finance and Management expertise. Analytical and hands-on with a robust history of delivering innovative solutions, she is known for developing efficient processes and incorporating creative leadership skills to achieve business objectives.
As Chief Financial Officer for the non-profit organization, Aralu is responsible for all financial and fiscal management aspects of operations while also providing leadership and coordination in the administrative, business planning, accounting, and budgeting efforts, and IT systems. She is committed to building relationships to assure financial systems reinforce organizational goals and initiatives.
Before joining the food bank, Aralu held senior leadership roles in various for-profit industries, including Owens Corning. She has a B.S. in Finance from San Jose State University and a MBA with concentration in Data Analytics. Aralu is a member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and serves as Treasurer of her church.

Kendace Culbreth
Chief Human Resources Officer
Kendace Culbreth has more than 25 years of experience serving as a trusted leader and thought partner in Human Capital Management. As the Chief Human Resources Officer, she oversees strategy, execution and support related to Internal Communications, Employee Engagement, Employee Relations, Belonging, Talent Acquisition, Training and Development, Talent Management, Benefits, Payroll, HRIS, and Process Compliance functions.
Before joining Houston Food Bank in 2021, Culbreth held senior leadership roles in various for-profit industries, including Logistics, Distribution and Transportation. She earned a BS in Social Work from Metropolitan State University, an MS in Organizational Leadership & Human Resources from Regis University, and is SPHR and SHRM-SCP certified. She is also a member of the professional organization HR Houston.

Tony Duong
Chief Operations Officer
Tony Duong has more than 20 years of operational and leadership experience in the food & beverage industry. Before joining Houston Food Bank, Duong was the Vice President of Manufacturing at Salt & Straw Ice Cream in Portland, OR.
Duong attended Johnson & Wales University in Miami, earning a BS in Culinary Arts Food and Beverage Management. He is also certified in AIB Food Processing/Sanitation, OSHA General Industry Safety and Health, and SQF Program and Maintenance Trained.
Duong is married and has two daughters, and together they enjoy traveling, golf, fishing and the great outdoors.

Nicole Lander
Chief Impact Officer
Mrs. Lander is a registered dietitian with over ten years managing food service operations and teaching proper health and wholesome nutrition. As Chief Impact Officer, she leads the Government Relations, Food For Change, Community Engagement, Partner Services, and Procurement departments, along with the food bank’s direct programming for children, seniors and nutrition education. In addition, she oversees the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and benefit assistance program through the Community Assistance Program (CAP). Mrs. Lander holds a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Michigan State University and is an active member of The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She previously worked at Aramark Healthcare Foodservice Corporation.

Julie Voss
Chief Development Officer
Julie Voss is an accomplished development executive with more than 30 years of proven experience as a leader, fundraiser and strategist. Before joining Houston Food Bank, Voss served in various executive roles with The Texas Heart Institute, Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, and Memorial Hermann Health System, among others.
Voss holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from The McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin and a Master’s in Nonprofit Management from the University of Houston Downtown. She has been credentialed as a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) since 2009; is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals; a member of Ladies of Literacy for Barbara Bush Foundation; and a lifetime member of National Charity League.

Cassandra Mott
Outside Co-General Counsel
Cassandra Mott serves as outside co-general counsel of HFB. For over 25 years, Cassandra has helped clients solve problems and close deals. As the co-chair of Blank Rome LLP’s Houston office, Cassandra represents banks and non-bank lenders, as well as private and public company borrowers and private equity portfolio companies, in a variety of commercial finance transactions. Although she values her “paying” clients, she cherishes her service to HFB and other pro bono clients and believes lawyers have an obligation to help those in our communities who need it most.
Cassandra was recognized by her firm for her pro bono efforts by being named a “Pro Bono Hero” in 2024, a recognition of which she is humbly proud. Cassandra, a graduate of the Ohio State University College of Law, lives in Bellaire with her husband, Jamie, her college-aged twins, Alex (a former HFB Student Hero) and Gavin (also a HFB volunteer), and her bull mastiffs, Hank and Mack.
