The Houston Food Bank has a decades-long history of serving Liberty, Trinity, San Jacinto, and Walker counties. The addition of the Trinity River Community Resource Center further strengthens our commitment to assist our neighbors and partners with long-term stability.

The Trinity River Community Resource Center offers neighbors access to a free neighbor-choice market.  The market offers nutritious food, including a variety of fresh produce and shelf-stable items.

Trinity River CRC offers extended hours.

Trinity River CRC knows that hunger does not exist alone.  We are committed to connecting people to resources.

The Community Assistance Program can help you apply for other programs like Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Medicare, Medicare Savings Program, Medicaid, Temporary Aid for Needy Families (TANF), Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), and Texas Women’s Health Program.

Volunteers are instrumental to Trinity River Community Resource Center’s operations.

Volunteer shifts are Tuesday 2pm-5pm, Wednesday-Saturday 9am-12pm and 2pm-5pm.
