Houston Food Bank understands that lack of affordable housing is the number one driver of food insecurity. In order to support our neighbors experiencing food insecurity because of housing costs, we need to inform more people about this issue. You could help us educate more people about why this matters and further gain support for policies by sharing your story.

Houston Food Bank understands that lack of affordable housing is the number one driver of food insecurity. In order to support our neighbors experiencing food insecurity because of housing costs, we need to inform more people about this issue. You could help us educate more people about why this matters and further gain support for policies by sharing your story.

We are searching for neighbors who may fit these descriptions in order to display a diversity of perspectives to volunteer to be interviewed by Houston Food Bank’s team:

  • Caucasian male who is currently working
  • Older Hispanic female, preferably a grandmother, who is working and raising her grandchildren
  • A Caucasian family with one or both parents working
