About

Join us Sunday, July 13th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for our special 713 Day Volunteer Shift! Start your morning with a doughnut, kindly donated by Voodoo Doughnut, then head into the volunteer area for a fun Houston-themed volunteer shift. Join us afterwards for a post-volunteer celebration of Houston with food, music and other Houston-centric things to enjoy including music by DJ Bloom and the Astros’ 2017 & 2022 Championship Trophies! There will also be a raffle, where anyone who donates at the event is entered to win some amazing, sought-after prizes!

97.9 The Box will be onsite, and vendors at the celebration include Exotic Pop, Chingona Picosita Candies and Ben & Jerry’s.

We also have an amazing 713 Day shirt available for sale with 100% of the proceeds going back to Houston Food Bank!
