In the wake of Winter Storm Enzo, a once-in-a-lifetime storm for the Houston area with temperatures in the teens and multiple inches of snow accumulation, we are still assessing the full impact. Today Houston Food Bank resumed normal operations, thanks in large part to our dedicated Ride Out Crew. Our first response team, the Ride Out crew stays at Houston Food Bank overnight in the event of a potential disaster. For Enzo they stayed 48 hours, that way they were able to evaluate the situation onsite to make sure all was safe and ready to resume operations as soon as possible.
Thank you, Ride Out Crew for helping us get back up as soon as possible!
