As more families across Texas are struggling to put food on the table, the continued support from Houston Restaurant Weeks, Houston restaurants and diners provides both nourishment and hope for children, families and senior citizens experiencing food insecurity across Houston Food Bank’s 18-county service area,” says Brian Greene, president/CEO of Houston Food Bank. “Feeding others is one of the most universal expressions of care, and Houston Food Bank is grateful for HRW’s long-standing support, which allows us to provide food for better lives.

Founded in 2003 by the late Cleverley Stone, Houston Restaurant Weeks is the largest restaurant weeks fundraiser in the United States, raising more than $23 million and helping provide over 70 million meals for food-insecure Houstonians. Today, her daughter, Katie Stone, continues the mission in her honor.
