  • 1 broccoli large head with stem
  • ½ cup yellow onion chopped
  • 1 carrot chopped
  • 1/2 cup strawberries
  • 2 tbsp sunflower seeds
  • 1/4 cup cranberries
  • 1 tbsp honey or agave nectar
  • 2 tbsp lemon squeezed
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp grainy mustard
  • 1 garlic clove minced

  • Wash, dry and chop head of broccoli, including the florets
  • Mix broccoli with onion, carrot, sunflower seeds, and cranberries
  • Whisk together honey, lemon juice, olive oil, mustard, and garlic in a separate bowl for the dressing.
  • Toss dressing thoroughly with the salad.
