Join the community to explore research on connection and belonging—and help shape a shared vision for the future of Houston.
A gathering to activate and ignite community-wide momentum around strengthening connection and belonging. This effort is intentionally inclusive—casting a wide net so all are welcome—and centers on building shared understanding of the research, raising awareness, and galvanizing collective support. The goal is to move from insight to action, inviting individuals and organizations to make meaningful commitments that advance belonging and connection across the community.
This event has been inspired by the Kinder Institute at Rice University report “Sense of Achievement, Belonging and Connection” and is organized by a partnership between the Kinder Institute, the YMCA of Greater Houston, the Houston Food Bank, and ALF Houston/Gulf Coast.
