July 30th (11:30am – 1:30pm) the children from HYPE Freedom School will be at Kroger on Buffalo Speedway to participate in Houston Texans Huddle Against Hunger, presented by Kroger 2025 – 2026 end-of-year Scavenger Hunt. The children split into 4 or 5 teams will compete in a Kroger shopping scavenger hunt searching for healthy food options. Assisted by a Texans Legend, Texans Players, Texans Cheerleaders and TORO the students will add to their shopping baskets nutritional options from a list and race to be the first to locate all items.
Houston Texans Huddle Against Hunger, presented by Kroger program was developed in partnership with the Houston Food Bank and the Texans and it is designed to help students better understand issues around food insecurity, hunger, and the importance of nutrition.
