This summer, Houston Food Bank’s Community Assistance Program (CAP) Mobile Unit will be traveling throughout the Greater Houston area to help individuals apply for federal & state benefit programs. Come by to connect with our team of trained navigators and get application assistance for:
- SNAP, TANF, CHIP & CHIP Perinatal
- Healthy Texas Women
- Medicaid
- Medicare Savings Program
No appointment needed—just walk in to get the help you need, closer to home. Can’t make it to a stop? You can also locate your closest food distribution site year round using our Find Food Map or schedule a virtual appointment at a time that’s convenient for you.
