- Food scholarship recipients receive groceries twice each month, through designated Food for Change Markets, strategically located near neighbors throughout the greater Houston area.
- A typical food distribution includes up to 60 pounds of healthy food, per neighbor, half of it produce.
- Neighbors enjoy a shopping experience similar to a grocery store or farmers market, selecting the foods that best meet their household needs.
- Similar to traditional scholarships, food scholarships are earned through ongoing commitment. Recipients maintain eligibility by continuing to participate in programs that support their educational, career, or financial goals.
