Houston Food Bank is open for normal operations on Viernes, mayo 17. We are mobilizing to assist communities affected by the storm on Jueves, mayo 16, and will continue to support our partner distribution organizations and affiliate food banks.

Desde tormentas hasta la emergencia cotidiana que supone el hambre, el Banco de Alimentos de Houston está siempre preparado para ofrecer a las familias de nuestra comunidad la red de seguridad que necesitan. Tu donación ayudará a proporcionar alimentos, agua y otros suministros necesarios. Una vez cubiertas las necesidades derivadas de la catástrofe, los fondos restantes se destinarán a proporcionar alimentos a las personas que padecen hambre en todo el sureste de Texas.
Donate items:
Here is the list of items most needed. Donations can be dropped off at Houston Food Bank: 535 Portwall St, Houston, TX 77029.
- Non-Perishable Food Items: protein snacks, crackers, canned goods – preferably pull top (veggies, fruits, soups, meats, ravioli), MREs, rice, pasta, cereal, dried fruits, granola bars
- Beverages: Bottled Water and shelf-stable drinks
- Household & Hygiene Products: Soap, toothpaste, household (paper plates/cups/utensils) and personal hygiene products (paper towels, toilet paper)
- Baby Supplies: Diapers and wipes
- Recovery Supplies: Buckets, cleaning towels, work gloves, cleaners
- For the safety of those we serve, the Houston Food Bank is unable to accept:
- Open packages
- Productos alimenticios caseros

- Alimentos para bebés
