The 20th Annual Empty Bowls Houston kicked off Viernes, mayo 15 with our Preview Party at Silver Street Studios at Sawyer Yards—a new venue for this year’s event.  Preview Party Chairs Anna Dean and Gin Braverman helped bring in more than 200 attendees and raise more than $18,000 in ticket and bowl sales.

El evento principal tuvo lugar el sábado 16 de mayo de 2026 y fue realmente impresionante. Con más de 1.500 cuencos a la venta, artistas realizando demostraciones en directo, música, almuerzo de Salata, café de Katz Coffee y helado de Ben & Jerry’s, ¡los asistentes acudieron en masa!

El evento fue un éxito rotundo, con más de 700 asistentes procedentes de toda Houston y algunos incluso de lugares tan lejanos como San Antonio. ¡Estos entusiastas seguidores de este evento tan significativo contribuyeron a recaudar más de 36 000 dólares con la venta de bolos!

Over the past year, Empty Bowls Houston has raised an amazing $102,976 through sponsorships, Preview Party ticket sales and bowl sales which will help provide nearly 309,000 meals!
