Houston Food Bank is honored to be recognized as a 2025 Feeding America Advocacy Hall of Fame honoree!
The Advocacy Hall of Fame recognizes network members that demonstrate strong advocacy engagement throughout the year. This recognition reflects our year-round commitment to advocacy—from engaging policymakers and building partnerships to mobilizing advocates and elevating the voices and experiences of our neighbors facing hunger.
Advocacy is a critical part of our mission, and we’re grateful to the staff, volunteers, partners, advocates, and neighbors who make this work possible. This year, we have worked to expand water ordinances for urban farms, build support for Texas SNAP and Medicade, and secure resources for healthy meals for those who most need them.
Together, we’re working to build a future where everyone in Houston and across the country has access to the food and resources we all need to thrive.
