We have full-service catering on-site. From fresh breakfast trays to beautifully plated, individually served meals, our team is ready to elevate your experience. Whether you’re hosting a volunteer group, a meeting, or a conference, we’ll make sure your event is seamless and memorable.

Breakfast Menu available Monday through Friday, 6am to 10am
Lunch Menu available Monday through Friday, 11am to 2pm

Houston Food Bank’s onsite Conference Center offers a variety of flexible spaces in which businesses, non-profit organizations, networking groups and individuals can host their events.
Bring people together in a space designed for connection, comfort, and purpose. Our Conference Center offers the flexibility and accommodations needed to host successful events of all kinds, with capacity for up to 400 guests during regular business hours, as well as select evenings and weekends. With our on-site 535 Catering, you’ll have everything you need in one place, delicious cuisine, seamless service, and an event attendees will remember. What kind of events cannot be scheduled at your facility?

What are the costs for holding an event?
Houston Food Bank charges minimal fees to cover the costs of hosting outside events. Please refer to the corporate meeting fee schedule or social and after-hours events fee schedule for more information.
When is the HFB Conference Center open for events?
Our facility is open during business hours for corporate meetings and remains available after hours for approved social events. Additional fees apply after 6:00 p.m.
What is required to hold an event at Houston Food Bank?
- A signed Facility Use and Policy Agreement and payment information.
- Some groups may be required to submit a Certificate of Insurance with a minimum of $1,000,000 in general liability coverage (see Event Liability Insurance). A Tenant User Liability Insurance Policy (TULIP) may also be available (see Fee Structure).
What are the benefits of using 535 Catering for my event?
Houston Food Bank provides exclusive catering in support of our mission. By utilizing our catering services for meetings and events in the Conference Center, you are not only providing high-quality food and service for your guests, but also helping provide nutritious meals to neighbors in need throughout Greater Houston and southeast Texas.
535 Catering operates separately from the Houston Food Bank warehouse. No products used by the catering department are sourced from food donated to or purchased by the Food Bank for distribution to partners.
Can I bring my own food or use another food provider?
With onsite catering readily available for any occasion, Houston Food Bank requires that all food and beverages be ordered directly through 535 Catering while using our facility.
Can I incorporate a volunteer activity into my event?
Yes. Thanks to the support of volunteer groups, Houston Food Bank is able to serve communities across our 18-county service area through a network of more than 1,600 partners.
Before booking one of our conference rooms, we recommend scheduling your volunteer shift first through our online registration calendar. Groups with a scheduled volunteer shift receive one hour of complimentary use of an available conference room. To check room availability, email ConferenceCenter@houstonfoodbank.org.
