If you are interested in your school signing up for our Kids Café Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) for the 2026-2027 school year, we’re excited about the opportunity to work together to help bridge feeding gaps for children in our community. The process is simple.
What’s Next?
To move forward, please submit the following required documentation. Once all items are received, we will schedule a pre-operational visit to tour your site and finalize any outstanding paperwork.
Required Documentation:
- Enrichment Document / Classroom Schedule
- District Letter (if located on a school campus)
- Site-Level Organizational Chart (attached)
- 501(c)(3) Letter or Tax Exemption Certificate
- Articles of Incorporation or LLC Documentation
- Childcare License or DFPS Exemption
- Certificate of Occupancy or Fire Code Compliance
- Governing Body of Awareness (attached)
- MOU with physical site hosting 3rd party enrichment program(agreement attached)
- Participant Roster (Excel format; must include each child’s full name, date of birth, race/ethnicity) (attached)
Once all documentation and trainings are complete, and your application is approved by the Texas Department of Agriculture, you will receive a confirmation email along with contact information for your assigned Kids Cafe Specialist.
