Beans Barton Art Auction to benefit Houston Food Bank at Dan Electro’s

Houston Food Bank would like to thank the estate of Don Arnold and Dan Electro’s for the charity art auction on tháng Tám 24 to benefit the food bank. Don was a long time collector of the work of Houston artist and musician Beans Barton, and his family auctioned off a large portion of his collection, with all proceeds to go to Houston Food Bank. The event was a rousing success, as you can see from some of the event photos.
In the Houston Food Bank’s 18-county service area over 1 million people are food insecure. The food insecurity rate of children and adults is 15.4%, which is higher than the national average of 13.5%. The valuable contributions made from the event will go toward essential items for children and families in need.
We’re grateful to all the Beans Barton fans who made the auction a success, Dan Electro’s for hosting, and most of all to the Arnold family for making this event happen. Together, we’re making a meaningful impact—one donation at a time.
