DESCRIPTION:April is Volunteer Appreciation Month\, and all month long we’re saying thank you to our incredible volunteers for championing Houston Food Bank’s mission of providing food for better lives! \nApril 5-11 volunteers and staff are encouraged to wear their favorite hat\, as a hats off to all they do! \nApril 12-18 floral patterns are in\, as a way of giving flowers to our supporters. \nApril 19-25 Dress in red as we roll out the red carpet for our volunteers! \nThroughout the month we will also be offering promotions and thank you messages. Our work would not be possible without the valuable contributions of our volunteers. \nSign Up to Volunteer

DESCRIPTION:Food from the Bar is a month-long competition among Houston’s legal community where participants earn points by donating food\, fund and volunteer time to benefit the Houston Food Bank. \n      How It Works\nLegal organizations will be awarded points as follows: \n\n1 lb. of food = 1 point\n$1 = 3 points\n1 volunteer = 50 points\n\nFirm/Organization Bonus Points: \n\n100 bonus points for every volunteer attending Volunteer Bonus Days\n\n      Sign Up – Early Registration Now Open\n \nJoin us for the 11th Annual Food From the Bar campaign.
