Tomato Basil Grilled Cheese
Ingredients
- 2 slices whole wheat bread
- 1 large tomato
- 2 slices low sodium mozzarella cheese
- 2 Tbsps. olive oil
- Fresh basil to sprinkle
Instructions
- Spread olive oil on the outsides of the two pieces of wheat bread.
- Cut 2 slices of mozzarella cheese and place on the 1st piece of bread.
- Slice the large tomato and place on top of the cheese.
- Sprinkle basil on top of the tomatoes and top the sandwich with the 2nd piece of bread.
- Cook on the griddle/stove pan until browned and the cheese has melted, flip when half way done.
- Enjoy!
