The Houston Food Bank feeds hungry people through partnerships with organizations across the community whose missions resonate with ours. In some cases, we provide office and/or warehouse space at a nominal rate in support of their activities.

Food for Pets
Animal shelters and the Rescue Bank receive pet food that comes to the Food Bank.
Harris County Adult Probation (Harris County Community Supervision and Corrections Department)
Probation officers are stationed at the Food Bank in a fully-functional region office interacting daily with their assigned caseload of supervised probationers; officers identify probationers who can volunteer at the Food Bank or participate in a Food Bank job training program

Second Servings is a food rescue organization that picks up leftover or extra prepared food from venues such as hotels for safe delivery to charitable meal providers
