The Houston Food Bank feeds hungry people through partnerships with organizations across the community whose missions resonate with ours. In some cases, we provide office and/or warehouse space at a nominal rate in support of their activities.

Harris County Adult Probation (Harris County Community Supervision and Corrections Department)
Probation officers are stationed at the Food Bank in a fully-functional region office interacting daily with their assigned caseload of supervised probationers; officers identify probationers who can volunteer at the Houston Food Bank or participate in a Houston Food Bank job training program.

Second Servings is a food rescue organization that picks up leftover or extra prepared food from venues such as hotels for safe delivery to charitable meal providers.

A vocational training program serving adults with developmental disabilities; H.E.A.R.T. clients maintain vending machines at our Portall warehouse.
