Hunger Free Texans Regional Coalition is a committee that is made up of diverse community stakeholders from across Texas.
We are approximately 100 members strong and our membership includes healthcare, government, education, grocers, business, advocacy, faith based and other non-profit organizations to include elected officials.
Our mission is reducing hunger and increasing health and nutrition across Texas. Our quarterly meetings in Houston provide an opportunity for diverse community partners to come together under one roof and share best practices on keeping people well in our communities.
The coalition officially stated in March of 2012. It is governed by a steering committee of 13 members and one chair.
