Souper Bowl of Caring Kick-Off

Join the fun as the Souper Bowl of Caring kicks off on Wed., Jan. 15 with a VERY early morning event.  Local TV stations usually send camera crews and reporters to cover the event, along with  local cheerleaders, marching bands, Boy Scouts, Texans mascot TORO and representatives from H-E-B, Kroger, Randalls, and the Houston Texans. 

Souper Bowl of caring is a youth-oriented campaign across the nation to fight hunger and poverty in the weeks leading up to the Super Bowl football game.

Sign up for one of two volunteer shifts on Wed., Jan. 15:
Young people are especially welcome!

4:15 a.m.-7:00 a.m.
7 a.m.-10 a.m. 

Volunteers will  build family boxes, assemble Backpack Buddy bags, and other dry good activities.

Youth volunteers ages 8-15 years old need a parent or guardian present. Volunteers ages 16 and up can come on their own.
