Archway Gallery: Special Empty Bowls Exhibition

Empty Bowls: 10 Years of Hope through Art – A Special Exhibition and Silent Auction by the Craft Community and Archway Gallery Artists.”  Empty Bowls Houston is a grassroots effort organized by local artists who use their artistic talents to help fight hunger in our community. To commemorate the 10th anniversary of Empty Bowls Houston, thirty-two (32) artists will create one-of-a-kind bowls with the theme of “10” embedded through 10 nested bowls, 10 facets, 10 stitches, 10 scallops, and other approaches for the special exhibition and silent auction. The public is invited to the opening reception on Friday, May 2, from 5 to 8 p.m., to meet the artists and begin bidding at Archway Gallery (2305 Dunlavy). The exhibition will continue until May 31st.
