Get in the spirit! The KHOU Spirit of Texas Food Drive.

We invite you to join us in filling pantries and filling lives in Houston this summer. We look forward to your partnership in making this year’s KHOU Spirit of Texas Food Drive an even greater success than last year’s.

Summer is a season of great need for the Houston Food Bank. With many children out of school, families are faced with tough decisions during the summer. Because of generous donations, the food bank feeds over 80,000 people each week through our network of nearly 400 hunger relief agencies in the 18 counties we serve. 

Here’s how you can help:

Sponsor a food drive
A great way to support the event is by sponsoring a food drive in your workplace, religious community or neighborhood. Please use this form to begin organizing a food drive.

Donate food through the red barrels in grocery stores throughout the city during June and July.

Shop at Kroger Food Stores July 12-25 and use the scan cards at the registers to make a monetary donation to the Houston Food Bank.

Monetary donations can be made on our website. Under Source, select Ch. 11 or if you are part of the Texas Medical Center choose your organization from the list.
